Abstract: 

One of the tools that can play a major role in the booming the stock market is the insurance investment companies which are of much importance due to financing the main part of flows of financial resources. According to Fama, an efficient market is one that the new incoming information affects the stock prices quickly. One way to examine the efficiency in weak form is to test for random walk hypothesis. In this paper, the efficiency of the insurance Industry investment company was examined with the Richardson & Smith variance ratio test, Belaire-Franch & Contreras variance ratio test, and Kim Bootstrap variance ratio test. The results indicated the insurance Industry investment company is inefficient in weak form for the period May 1999 to November 2010. Therefore, we can conclude that the efficiency of the insurance Industry investment company does not hold.

Abstract: 

Today, organizations seek to identify and apply effective methods and models for generating loyalty. They seek to satisfy the customers beyond their own expectation and to achieve loyalty through long-standing and profitable contact. In this study of customer loyalty model in insurance industry, the relation between the quality of tangible and intangible services and customers’ attitudinal and behavioral loyalty has been studied. The survey population is customers of Karafarin Insurance Company in Mashhad, Iran. 188 holders of the three classes of property, liability, and personal insurance were randomly chosen. Data were analyzed via path analysis method, using Smart-PLS software. Results show that the proposed model fits the data. Moreover, not only the relation between service quality and customers’ satisfaction but also the inevitable role of customers’ satisfaction in generating attitudinal and behavioral loyalty has been demonstrated.

Abstract: 

Objective: Today in the Insurance industry, playing the role customer of follow the service providers has become the guiding providers. Therefore, due to the difference in profitability, volume and type of purchase, loyalty, risks, behavioral and demographic dimensions we seek to create significant demarcations between them with using the customer segmentation approach that by recognizing the characteristics of each of these different groups increase the competitive power and success of activists in this field be provided. Method: Customer Segmentation Using a two-step cluster analysis with scalable cluster analysis algorithm with respect to the feasibility of this technique in the analysis of continuous and categorical variables was performed. Dominant patterns in customer grouping were identified. Then using discriminate analysis, clustering validity was examined. Findings: According to the defined indicators, customers were divided into six clusters. Variables discounts offered, profit, claims ratio, volume and number of insurances purchased the highest role in the separation of the clusters. Also, in terms of profitability, all clusters are different from each other. In terms of absorption method debtor cluster with Passers and favourite cluster with credit worthy are different. Conclusion: Insurance companies can use the customer segmentation technique based on the criteria proposed in this article and identify their characteristics, identify the position of each group in the company's profit or loss, predict and draw the behavior pattern of potential and future customers with similar characteristics. Determine the target market and appropriate marketing strategy to increase their competitiveness compared to other competitors.

Abstract: 

Objective: Achieving competitive advantage in insurance industry requires innovation and entrepreneurship. Opportunity identification is the essence and starting point of entrepreneurship. Opportunity evaluation is an essential element in the entrepreneurial process that facilitates the relationship between discovery and exploitation. The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the criteria for evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities in the insurance industry. Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of methodology. First, the criteria for evaluating the opportunity extracted from the research literature and were screened by experts using a researcher-made questionnaire and was analyzed by mean test via SPSS software. Then, the weight of the criteria was determined using the best-worst questionnaire via Lingo software. The first statistical population to identify and determine the criteria for evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities was 31 people from university professors and insurance industry experts. The second statistical population to determine the weight of the criteria set out in the previous step, was 8 managers of Parsian insurance company. The face and content validity of the questionnaires was assessed by university professors and industry experts. The reliability of the first questionnaire was confirmed with Cronbach's alpha of 0. 841 and the second questionnaire with an incompatibility rate of 0. 0274. Findings: The most important criteria for evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities in the insurance industry are project resources, amount of resource investment, market needs, profit margin, level of competition, desirability and attractiveness of the opportunity, other potential opportunities and few barriers for entry. Conclusion: Insurance companies can make the right decisions about how to take advantage of opportunities by emphasizing the criteria identified in this study, in order to gain a competitive advantage which leads to the growth and development of the country's economy.

Abstract: 

As we are moving into the new millenniumand due to rapid changes in the IT industry around the world, an organization’ s competitiveness and survival depends on its ability to develop and produce new and innovative products. In a new era of global competition, countries rely on innovation in order to increase productivity and improve the economy. With reference to the subject mentioned above, the goal of this study is to identify and prioritize factors affecting open innovation in an insurance company. Considering related literature and according to the model which is used in this study, 38 indicators have been identified. After designing a questionnaire based on 38 indicators and approving its validity by experts, 134 questionnaires were distributed. Reliability is confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. We consider EXCELL, SPSS and PLS software’ s output in order to determine open innovation factors in the organization.

Abstract: 

This paper studies and evaluates transaction costs in insurance markets between insurer and insured. We divide transaction costs into four parts and study E-insurance in reducing transaction costs. The results show that insured transaction costs are 10.4 percent and the insurer transaction costs are 2.07 percent of company total costs. We use EViews, SPSS and Excel software in our analyses.

Abstract: 

Background: Burnout is one of the most important problems that the employees encounter. Many health problems arise due to burnout which is to be dealt with by the employees and the owners in the industry. Among many different ways of dealing with this problem, herbal therapy seems to be a promising solution. The present study intended to investigate the effect of Rosmarinus officinalis (RO) on burnout in employees who work in industrial environments.Materials and Methods: An experimental study was performed to see whether RO has an effect on burnout or not. A total of 66 employees, aged between 20 and 60 years, who had worked for at least 1 year in the technical wards of Iran Chemical Industry Investment Company took part in the study. The participants were randomly assigned to two groups of control (n=33) and RO (n=33). The RO group received 4 g of Rosemary in 150 cc water per day for 2 months. The control group, on the other hand, did not receive anything. The data were collected via Geldard (1989) Burnout Inventory before and after the treatment. A t-test was performed to analyze the collected data.Results: The results of statistical tests showed that after intervention, the score of occupational burnout in RO group was better, and a significant difference was found between the control and experimental groups (P=0.03), in favor of the experimental group.Conclusions: The results of the study revealed that Rosmarinus had a positive effect on burnout in employees in this study. Further studies in this field are suggested.

Abstract: 

The general objective of this research is to identify the effects of customer knowledge flows on the performance and dimensions of innovation in organizations and to illustrate some of the important benefits of knowledge flows of customers in organizations. Which benefits from the interaction between the external and internal environment and brings unique privileges to the organization. This research is descriptive-correlational. In this research، after identifying the factors and dimensions and indicators of variables، a researcher-made questionnaire was designed based on the Likert spectrum and distributed among 200 managers of the Alborz Insurance Company. Then performance measures and customer knowledge management، business innovation and business were categorized using structural equation analysis. Finally، the research model was evaluated using PLS software. The results of the research showed that customer knowledge management has an impact on business performance with mediating the ability to innovate in the insurance industry.

Abstract: 

. One of the industries that has intensified the competitive environment in the industry in recent years due to continuous changes is the automotive industry, therefore, automotive companies must find ways to be able to differentiate their strategy from other automotive companies. Provide better customer service. An example of these distinctive strategies is investment decisions in attractive areas of automotive companies. In this regard, the purpose of this research is to design and explain the strategic investment model in attractive areas of the automotive industry in Zamyad Automotive Company. The statistical population of this study was the senior managers of all production and organizational lines of Zamyad Automotive Company (464 managers), of which 210 managers were selected and tested. It was suggested that the intellectual capital, financial costs and managerial risk profile play a significant role in the investment of managers in attractive areas of automotive companies.
